22 Sep 2004
September 22, 2004 -- HotelShark, the world"s most-trusted lodging guide, began coverage of Bretton Woods, New Hampshire this week. The first guest-reviewed property in the new section is the Mount Washington Hotel. The property is described by a recent guest as "a grand old hotel" with an "enormous veranda" for "relaxing."
Located north of Concord, Bretton Woods is a popular New England ski area. In 1944, the town was the site of the Bretton Woods Conference, a historic United Nations planning session to deal with postwar Europe.
Bretton Woods is the third major addition to HotelShark"s New England section in 2004. In July, HotelShark added Freeport and Bar Harbor, Maine to its list of covered cities. HotelShark has also added numerous properties and reviews to its Boston section this year.
A city, state, or country is added to HotelShark when necessary to accommodate a new review. A review is published only after a contribution from a traveler has been thoroughly researched and authenticated. HotelShark discards well over half of all incoming contributions as insufficient or invalid.
